Elizabeth "Bette" Brizendine

Elizabeth "Bette� Brizendine, 75, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005. Services will be 3 pm Wednesday, August 3rd at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 pm until service time. Bette was born August 20, 1929 in Pittsburg, KS to Frank and Elizabeth (Bunney) Vider. She was a telephone operator with Western Missouri Mental Health Center for several years. Bette was a dedicated member and volunteer at Living Bread Ministries of Cornerstone Church. Bette was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Matson and is survived by her daughters, Sandy Walls and husband Don of Kansas City, MO, Carol Vinyard and husband Raymond of Independence, MO, Wanda Brizendine of Independence, MO, and Stacey Stoneking and husband Fred of Springfield, MO; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Laura Yohe; brothers, Larry, Pat, Tim, Denny, Terry, Jeff and Thad Vider.
