Clint Broadus, 54, of Holden, MO passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Clint was born February 5, 1958 in Ottawa, IL to parents Gerald Broadus and Darlene Downey, and later became a step-son to Paul Drake. He worked as a grounds keeper for 30 years with the Tuileries Condominiums in Overland Park, KS. Clint was an avid golfer, and loved listening to all kinds of music, from Black Sabbath to George Straight. He also loved dragons and his Kansas City Chiefs. Most importantly, however, Clint was a hard-working man who loved and cared for his family very much, and who will be missed by everyone who knew what a good person he was. Clint leaves behind his mother, Darlene Drake; brother Jerry Broadus (Tina); son Kyle Broadus; daughter, Crystal Broadus (Brian Waldram); step-brother Craig Broadus; and step-sister Patty Jo. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 18 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO, 64055. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 in the chapel.
