Larry Brock

Leon Brock, 75, on Independence, MO passed away November 19, 2017. Memorial services will be Friday, November 24, 2017 beginning at 1:30 pm at New Hope Baptist Church on Lexington. Leon was born on April 28, 1942 in Carrollton, MO to Jesse and Avis (Brumbaugh) Brock. 49 years ago he married the love of his life, Norma. Leon loved to drive and be on the go. He was always up for a drive! The destination was never as important as the drive to get there. He loved to laugh and to hear others laugh, he was always cracking jokes. Everyone was given a nick name. He enjoyed fishing, being with family, and watching wrestling. He enjoyed country music, namely Carrie Underwood. Survivors include his loving wife Norma Brock, nephew Rex Brock and his wife Kim, and nephew Rodney Brock. He also leaves behind 15 great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and was loved by all. Leon is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lloyd Brock.
