Lawrence Joseph “Larry” Brodzinski, 70, passed away peacefully in Lee’s Summit, MO on May 14, 2020.
Larry was born on November 11, 1949, in Independence, MO, to Lawrence Brodzinski and Helen Olinskey Brodzinski. He went to grade school at St. Ann’s, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. He received his associate’s degree from Maple Woods Community College. He was an Air Force veteran and he retired from AT&T as a cable splicer. Throughout his life he enjoyed music and cars. He leaves three children: Jeff (Tina) Brodzinski, Nicole Harper, and Jay (Grace) Brodzinski; 10 grandchildren: Landon, Hunter, and Kayci Brodzinski, Kayla Harper, Sydney Thomas, Darian Harper, Mason Harper, Letha Long, Willow Nispel, and Jayce Brodzinski; three great-grandchildren: Jaelyn Wilder, Amiyah Adams, and Liam Thomas; brother John Brodzinski; sisters Rose McCale and Mary Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, both Wednesday, May 20, at St. Cyril’s Parish. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
