Lawrence Amil Brodzinski, 87, Sugar Creek, MO, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004, at the Carmel Hills Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, January 20, at St. Cyril�s Catholic Church; burial in the St. Mary�s section of Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm Monday at Speaks Midtown Chapel, with the Rosary at 6:30 pm. Contributions may be made to the church. Mr. Brodzinski was born December 16, 1916, in Marinette, WI, to August and Rose Brodzinski. He served in the US Army during WWII at the Battle of the Bulge. Lawrence was employed for 37 years with Standard Oil in Sugar Creek. He was active in his church and had served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. He loved his family and enjoyed working with wood and traveling. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen (Olinskey) Brodzinski, of the home; two daughers, Mary Davis and husband Jack, Houston TX, and Rose McCale and husband Terry, Olathe KS; two sons, Larry Brodzinski and wife Sherrie, Arrow Rock MO, and John Brodzinski and wife Pam, Oak Grove MO; eight grandsons, John, Jason, Mike, Sean, Jeff, Jay, Aaron, and Jory; three granddaughters, Julie, Nicole, and Marnie; eleven great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends.
