Bobby Ray Brooks

Bobby Ray Brooks, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Monday March 14, 2022. He was 50 years old.
Bobby was born on April 1, 1971, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Billy Joe and Judy (Roofener) Brooks. After graduating from Camdenton High School Bobby attended Southern Missouri State University. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He loved football and when in high school, Bobby’s team won State, a memory he always carried with him. He liked to listen to all music and was known to sing karaoke. Bobby was always kind and always a great neighbor, lending a hand wherever it was needed without being asked. He was such a kind and giving soul and will be greatly missed.

Bobby is survived by his mother Judy (Gary) Brooks; beloved girlfriend, Jennifer Loveall; aunt, Shirley Short; uncle, Wes Heavner; dear cousins; Samantha Sullivan, Rebecca Cambers, Timothy Roofener; stepsisters, Sandra Lindstrom, Terri Arnone; many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Brooks and his grandmother, Sarah Kathleen Heavner.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055, family will greet guest between the hours of 6-8pm. Funeral service will take place Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10am, also held at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Bobby will be laid to rest in Floral Hill Cemetery, Raytown, MO. Interment will directly follow services.
