Marie E. "Betty" Broski

Marie E. "Betty� Broski, 88, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nativity of Mary Church, 10017 E. 36th St., Independence, MO 64052. Betty was born July 21, 1918 in Burlington, WI. She was a long-time member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Mrs. Broski enjoyed bowling, square dancing and attending horse races in her spare time and loved to play cards. Betty is survived by her son Leo J. Broski and wife Vicki, daughter Nancy Janssen and husband Jim, son Michael J. Broski and wife Barbara; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Paula Beeler, Velma Broski, Anna Broski; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Leo J. Broski in 1985, brother Dick Beeler and a grandson Andy Broski.
