Lorene M. Brown

Lorene M. Brown, 93, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005. Services will be 2 pm Monday, November 21st at Carson-Speaks Chapel (1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO); with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1 pm until service time. Mrs. Brown, her husband, and sons owned and operated Ideal Nursery in Raytown for over 40 years, where she worked every day into her eighties. She was a faithful member of the Raytown Christian Church. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Archie Brown; her son, John; a great granddaughter, and a great grandson. She is survived by her son Coy Brown and wife Marilyn of Pleasant Hill, MO; daughter, Bonnie Nelson and husband Larry of Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the Masonic Home, Beautiful Savior, and hospice.
