Mike Brown

June 29, 1954 — December 13, 2007

Charles Michael Brown, 53, of Lone Jack, MO passed away on December 13, 2007 at Lee’s Summit Hospital. Mike graduated from Ruskin High School. He also lived in Gravois Mills, MO for nine years. He was a bass player with the bands, Earthquake Jake, Tourist, Liquid Poet and The Visitors. Mike rocked the Lake of the Ozarks and the Kansas City area with his tremendous musical talent. His humorous nature was loved by all and will be missed. Mike is survived by his wife, Sheila (Schenk) Brown; two daughters, Jessica and Natalie Brown-Cornwell; brother, Marshall Brown; sister, Susie Bradish; nieces, nephews and many other loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, MO. A memorial visitation will follow from 5-7:00 p.m. in the chapel.
