Ronald Lee "Ron" Brown

Ronald Lee “Ron” Brown, 63, of Independence, MO passed away September 5, 2021 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned and private family services will be held.

Ron was born May 20, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to John and JoAnn (Groves) Brown. He graduated from Plato High School and later from Drury College with a degree in business. He married Tracey Cook on June 9, 1979 and together they raised four beautiful children.

Ron spent much of his childhood on a farm bailing hay and milking dairy cows. It was here where he learned to use his hands and how to fix anything and everything. He began working for Sears at a young age in maintenance and most recently for the U.S. Postal service. Throughout all of his life he would help anyone who needed it and will be missed terribly for his knowledge, honesty, and his huge heart of gold.

Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tracey Brown; daughters: Sara Wilson and husband Joshua and April Roll and husband Robert; sons: Jonathan Brown and wife Debbie and Robert Brown and husband Sheldon Jones; nine grandchildren: David and Audrey Wilson, Brody and Declan Roll, Hunter, Isabella, Wyatt, and Opie Brown, and Garrett Nobel; mother JoAnn Brown; brother Don Brown and wife Venita; sister Cheryl Cole and husband Jack; three grand-dogs: Cadbury, Tobler and Rolo; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Brown and father John Brown.
