Walter Brown

Walter “Joe” Brown, 58 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Rd., Kansas City, MO 64127. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the church. Donations may be made in his name to Sheffield Family Life Center for the youth. Walter was born February 18, 1954 and grew up in Kansas City. In 1976, he married Rita and continued to love her for the rest of his life. He was a loving husband, father, proud grandfather, and the best friend people could have. He was always there to help out his family and friends whenever they needed him. He worked for Sears for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother. He leaves his wife, children Anna and Kevin; sisters, Patty and Linda; 7 grandkids, family and loved ones.
