Jackie Brownsberger
Jackie Brownsberger, 66, of Independence, died May 15, 2006 at North Kansas City Hospital. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Carson-Speaks Chapel on Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. Jackie was born in Los Angeles, California on October 21, 1939 the daughter of Oscar and Maurine Noonan Jenkins. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother and enjoyed family gatherings. Jackie enjoyed being involved in her children�s activities and served as past President of the P.T.A. and was an active school volunteer. She worked in the office at Nowlin School. She had been a Hospice Volunteer. In the past few years she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Jackie married John Brownsberger in Kansas City, Missouri on March 11, 1972. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her five children: Greg Brownsberger and wife Darcy of Platte City, Mo., Jeff Brownsberger and wife Betty of Independence, Mo., Angie Pritchett of Independence, Mo., Tim Brownsberger and wife Patty of Phoenix, Az., and Kim Lezcano of Chandler, Az., ten grandchildren, her brother, Gerald Jenkins and wife Peggy of Sedalia, Mo. and her sister, Pat Jenkins of Gladstone, Mo. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Jenkins. The family suggests memorial contributions in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, 3420 Broadway, Suite #105, Kansas City, Mo. 64111.
