Larry Frank Broyles, 74, passed away Dec. 3, 2019. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11:00am, in Lindley Prairie Cemetery, Bearcreek, MO.
Contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Larry was born on Nov. 13, 1945, in rural Madison, MO, to Frank and Myrtle (Hammons) Broyles. He worked for many years at the Sheltered Workshop in Sedalia. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports games, especially the Dallas Cowboys, the KC Royals, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He could often be found watching John Wayne movies or Bonanza with his brother. Family was particularly important to Larry – and once he met someone, he never forgot them. He loved the Lord – he was a Baptist by faith and he was proud to have “Jesus in my heart!”
Larry is survived by his brother, Randy Broyles; sister, Kaye Starkey (husband Earl); sister-in-law, Leta Broyles; brother-in-law, Harry “Fuzzy” Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Myrtle Broyles, and siblings, Wanda Breshears, Peggy Miller, and Don Broyles.
“A more caring man, the world will never know.”
