Jeffrey D. Bruning, born September 18, 1968, died on October 3, 2006 of Huntington�s disease. Huntington�s is a genetic neurological disease that has no cure. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the chapel. Burial at Mount Washington Cemetery. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Janet S. and Judge Ronald R. Holliger, brother Craig Bruning and sister-in-law Christy, and beloved nephews Connor and Cooper. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Irma Bruning, uncles and aunts Jim and Judi Bruning and Jim and Mary Edds as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Gary and Uncle Gordon who also had Huntingtons. He was a graduate of Platteville High School, Platteville, Wisconsin and Kansas State University with a bachelor�s degree in Business Management. He loved Wildcat football. The family expresses special thanks to the nurses, staff and residents of Truman Medical Center Lakewood Extended Care. They gave Jeff support and care and most importantly love during the final year of his life. Also special thanks to Kansas City Hospice who did so much for Jeff and the family. The family requests no flowers, but memorial donations may be made to the "Race for the Cure� at the Huntington�s Disease Society of America, Huntington�s Disease Society of America
