David Bryant

David Lee Bryant, 77, Independence, MO, passed away July 30, 2012. Visitation will be 10 – 11 am, Wed., Aug. 1 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will follow at 1 pm at Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Holden Cemetery Assoc., Holden, MO 64040.
David was born Aug. 22, 1934 in Eldridge, MO. He was the plant operator for the Asphalt Sales Company until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed fishing and water skiing in his younger days. Most of all, he was totally devoted to his wife, Evelyn, who preceded him in death on June 15, 2006. David was also preceded in death by son Gary Bryant in May of this year; sister Mary Fritz in 1993; brother Kelly Bryant in 1987 and mother-in-law Frances Humphries in November, 2011. He is survived by sons Mike Bryant and wife Brenda, Gainesboro, TN; Pat Bryant, Independence, MO; brother Kenny Bryant and wife Nellie, Lebanon, MO; grandson Joshua Lee Bryant, Gainesboro, TN and sister-in-law Dorothy Pine, Independence, MO.,
