Charles F. Buck, 88 of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Centerpoint Medical Center. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, April 30, 2015, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Marshall, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1400 W Sheley Rd, Independence, MO 64052. Charles was born August 18, 1926 in Marshall, MO to John G. and Nannie M. (Price) Buck. He spent his early life in Marshall and graduated from school there before entering the service where he proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He had farmed after the service until he moved to Independence in 1965 and went to work for JR Stewart Construction as a tile setter until he retired in 1985. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Frances Buck of the home; a son, Steve Buck of Marshall, MO; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Emis of Corder, MO.
