Virgil Glen Buck

Virgil Glenn Buck, 86, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sat. Sep. 25, 2004 at Carondelet Manor in Kansas City. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2. Mr. Buck was born on Mar. 5, 1918 in DeKalb County, MO. He had owned and operated Bura Labels in Kansas City and had been a Pressman for various printing companies, retiring in 1975. He was a Marine veteran of WWII and had received the Purple Heart. Mr. Buck was a member of the Pressman�s Union, the DAV, the Marine Corp League and the Moose Lodge #10 since 1966. He was of the Baptist Faith. Virgil is survived by his wife, Nell Gamble Buck of Kansas City, MO. A daughter Marlene Fenton of Arizona. A stepson, Eugene Gamble of Virginia. Two step-granddaughter, Laura Carlson of Virginia and Melinda Russell of El Paso, TX. Four step great grandchildren. A niece, Diane Henderson of Kansas City and a nephew, Terry Houston of Colorado.
