Norma Jean Burd (Terrill)

Norma Jean Burd, 70, of Independence, MO passed away March 20, 2016. A visitation will take place from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, March 24, at Sheffield Family Life Center. Norma was born December 14, 1945 in Marshall, MO to Leon and Nola (Rowden) Terrill. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Norma will be remembered by her family as a strong woman of faith, and who showed that every day through her generosity to others. She is survived by her five children, Stephanie Seek and husband Kenny, Stella Burd-Peters and husband Willard, Dennis Burd and wife Angela, Russell Burd and wife Lynn, Joseph Burd; six grandchildren, James Seek, Kelly Kerrick, Larry Burd, Edwin Coffman, Keston Burd, Taenen Burd; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Stephen Terrill; and one sister, Mary Watson.
