Marina Nicollette-Francis Burks

Marina Nicollette-Francis Burks, of Independence, MO went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11th at the Medical Center of Independence. Marina is the daughter of Farris L. and Stacie Yvette (Sutton) Burks, Jr. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 15th at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. She is survived by her parents; sister Marissa; maternal grandparents Linda and Michael Sutton; paternal grandfather Farris L. Burks, Sr.; aunts Stephannie White, Shellie Hoffman, Wendie Smallwood, Christie Bisbie, Anita Burks; uncles Allen and Terry Burks; and many cousins. Marina was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Beverly Burks; great-grandparents Lois Francis and William Vernon Sigloch, Ethlyn Tucker. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
