Larry Duane Burnett Sr.

Larry Duane Burnett Sr., 57, of Liberty, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1,2022, at North Kansas City hospital, surrounded by his wife Anita Burnett and Sister Sheila (Shelly) Renee Herrington.
Larry was born on Sept 12, 1964, in Kansas City, KS., son to Larry Rex and Sharon Eileen Burnett. Larry attended grade school in Northeast Kansas City, Mo., graduating from Liberty High School in 1983. Larry was a jack of all trades in the workforce.
Larry married his wife Anita on Sept. 12, 2003., in Osceola MO. With that marriage included 11 kids.
Larry had a great love for the lord and his family. He raised his kids how he was raised, which came with a stern voice and short leash. In Larry’s free time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, music, watching football (Chiefs) sitting on his front porch looking at the stars, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Larry always looked forward to the family get togethers and camping trips. Larry also enjoyed living in the country, riding his four-wheeler and long one on one talks with his family and friends.
Preceded in death, Father, Larry R. Burnett, son, Travis Lee Moore. Survivors include a mother, Sharon E. Burnett, wife, Anita Burnett, Sister, Sheila (Shelly) Renee Herrington, sons, Gary Lee Reeves, Larry Duane Burnett Jr (Courtney), Eric Duran Hernandez (Liz), Joshua Joe Burnett and John Aaron Burnett (Katrina). Daughters, Adajia Ranae Twombly, Kristi Dawn Reddy (Trey), Amber Jean Currivan (Matt), Amanda Lynn Kuhlman and Heaven Cierrah Dawn Burnett. Nieces, Erica Herrington, Alleah Schlag and Allora Schlag. Nephews, Justin Schlag and Jayden Schlag. In addition 29 grandchildren.

Visitation service will be held at 12:30p.m at Carson Speaks Chapel. 1501 W Lexington Ave, Independence, Mo. February 9, 2022. Funeral service will be held at 1:30p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
