Davie Lee Burton, Independence, MO, feared by bass fish everywhere, passed away far too soon after a short illness on Monday, September 28th, 2020. He was 61.
Davie was born in Webb City, MO on May 5, 1959. He worked hard as a printer for over 32 years for Siegrist Engraving Company. And when he wasn’t working hard, he could be found fishing at a local MO lake. He will be missed by so many that love him.
Davie is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Molly Sue Burton; daughter, Mindy Thompson; son-in-law, Henry Thompson; granddaughters, Emma and Elisabeth Thompson; sons, Jeremiah and Justin Burton; sister, Elizabeth Grooms and her daughter, Kiera; sister, Michelle Ashley; brother-in-law, Paul Ashley and their daughters, Angella and Isabelle. There are no services planned at this time.
