Mildred Maxine Burton

Mildred Maxine Burton, 67, of Buckner, MO, passed away, Friday, October 15, 2004 at St. Mary�s Hospital of Blue Springs. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 19, 2004 at the Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Mildred was born September 4, 1937 in Crocker, MO to Robert and Martha (Schriner) Porter. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. She was married to Donald Burton on September 4, 1955 in Oak Grove, MO, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a son, William Burton and his wife Lori of Oak Grove, MO; a daughter-in-law Christal Burton of Odessa, MO; a brother, Robert Porter of Independence, MO; 5 sisters, Grace Schaffer of Leaton, MO, Arvella Ann Hall of Buckner, MO, Shirley Ann Wirsig of Richmond, MO, Mary Jane Root of Pleasant Hill, MO and Virginia Porter of Lexington, MO. She was preceded in death by a son, David Burton in 2003 and 2 bothers, Jack Porter and Raymond Porter.
