Mark Edward Butkovich, 49 of Sugar Creek passed away Wed. Feb. 7, 2007. Services will be 11:00 am Mon. Feb. 12, 2006 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs. Mark was born on Jul 27, 1957 to Matthew and Tootie (Clevenger) Butkovich in Kansas City, MO. In recent years he had been employed at the VA Hospital. Mark was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. He loved his dogs just as if they were his children. He was very artistic and loved to draw. Mark was a member of St. Cyril�s Catholic Church. He graduated from Vatterott college with honors and was a Navy veteran, having served on board the USS Missouri. Mark is survived by his mother, Tootie Butkovich of Sugar Creek; a brother, Filip Butkovich of Seminole, FL; two sisters, Mary Kay Little and husband Bill of Cincinnati, OH and Janice Butkovich of Liberty, MO. Two nephews, Eric and Jorel; three nieces, Jocelynn, Sherry and Jamie, who is serving overseas in the US Navy; two great nephews, Garrett and William.
