Garth Button

Garth Button, 77, of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at his home. Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated. Garth was born September 15, 1938 in Dallas, TX. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas and earned his Bachelor’s degree there. He worked at several area hospitals in various capacities including Menorah Medical Center, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and Liberty Hospital. He also served as the Head of Associated Purchasing Association for several years. In his spare time, Garth enjoyed playing music and being on the lake. Garth has requested memorial contributions be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
