Carl Mason Bybee

Carl Mason Bybee, 92 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Health Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday March 24, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Hospice 9200 Ward Pkwy # 410
Kansas City, MO 64114. Carl was born December 24, 1914 in Kimbell, NE to Charles William Franklin and Ada Clara (Brown) Bybee. He spent most of his life as a farmer in the Blue Springs area. He enjoyed walking and outdoor activities. He was a member of the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Blue Springs Congregation. He is survived by; 2 sisters, Alice Thompson and her husband William and Shirley Cogan and her husband Donald; 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Fern Smith, Nancy Carter and Cathy Bybee; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Nelson, Drury, Ralph, Homer and Everett and a sister Evelyn Jean.
