Jessie Hannah Cackler

Jessie Hannah Cackler, 86, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the chapel, with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Northcare Hospice. Jessie was born on August 17, 1918 in Hocking, IA to Richard and Jane Owens. She worked for 35 years in Fort Dodge, IA as a legal secretary. She was also a great hostess and homemaker, making sure that laughter was always a part of her family�s life. Jessie had a beautiful voice, and shared it often in her church services. She was a long-time member of the East Alton Community of Christ Congregation. Some of her favorite times included international trips with her sister in which they would always come back with stories of fun adventures. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John Charles Cackler; and son, C. Steven Cackler. Jessie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Lowell Snapp; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Cackler, Amanda Gartner, Karen Murray and David Snapp; and four great grandchildren, Jarred and Isaac Murray, and Jacob and Lucas Snapp.
