Donna Mae Caldarello

Donna Mae Caldarello, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, she was 77 years of age.

Donna was born on June 18, 1945, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Roscoe and Dorothy (Richardson) Gregory. She graduated from Van Horn High School, class of 1963 and went on to take college courses at CMSU in Warrensburg, Missouri. Donna enjoyed reading, movies, bird watching in her yard and loving on her cats. Most of all Donna, loved her children and her most favorite thing in the world was being a grandmother. She was an amazing listener, and both new acquaintances and old friends were immediately comfortable sharing their life stories with her. Voted ‘jolly good’ in high school, she always kept her joyful, funny, light-hearted spirit. She was a wonderful woman, mother, and nana, and will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by her children, Gina (Tom) Talley, Mark Caldarello, and their father, Mike Caldarello; grandchildren, Joseph, and Jake Talley; extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Dorothy Gregory and her half-brother, Lee.

A visitation is being held on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Missouri, 64052. Family will greet guest between the hours of 5-7pm. A private family Graveside will be held for interment.
