Charles L. Camerlinck, 78, of Independence, passed away August 10, 2014. Family will Celebrate his life with friends from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, August 13, at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, 10:00 am, at the chapel. Burial following services in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Chuck was born August 9, 1936 to Emil and Annie Camerlinck in Independence, MO. Chuck was a veteran in the US Army. Most of his working career was spent as a machinist with Union Wire Rope. He also held positions with United Way and AFL/CIO. Chuck had a love for classic cars and his car buddies. The many hours of cars shows brought him much joy. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marjorie Camerlinck. Survivors include: daughter, Alberta Francis, of Pittsburg, MO; son, Dewayne Siniawski, of Lee’s Summit; sister, Carolyn Fitzpatrick; 3 granddaughters; and 7 great grandchildren.
