William Joseph "Bill� Camerlynck, Sr., 82, of Independence, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Friday, February 10th at Providence Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15th at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bill was born November 20, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to Phillip Jules and Augusta Margret (DeGhelder) Camerlynck. Mr. Camerlynck proudly served his country in the Army during WWII and was a lifetime member of local VFW post 3976. He retired from General Mills after 37 years in 1985. Mr. Camerlynck was devoted to his family and loved his wife dearly. Bill is survived by his children Judy (Don) O�Bryan, Connie Camerlynck, William J. "Bill� Camerlynck, Jr.; daughter-in-law Laurie McVay; granddaughters Lori (Jason) Rodgers, Mia (Doug) Stine; great-grandchildren Ellen and Nicholas Rodgers, Savannah and Sophia Stine; brother Gus Camerlynck; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Inez Camerlynck; 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
