Gina Cammack of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, she was 77 years old.
Gina was born September 2, 1943 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado to Delbert and Ruth Williams and later her, her siblings and parents moved to the Kansas City area where Gina attended and graduated from North East High School in 1961. After graduation she entered into the banking industry and worked her way to Operations Management. Gina had met and married Barry Cammack and through their union came two children, Chad and Kirsten.
Gina would do anything for anyone in need and often volunteered with the American Red Cross. She preferred yellow roses and was very possibly Stephen Kings biggest fan, including a complete collection of his writings; she also enjoyed Dean Koontz as well, but Stephen truly had her heart. As much as she enjoyed and loved reading and crossword puzzles, nothing made her happier than her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Losing Gina will leave a hole in our hearts that we will try and fill with our memories and love. Perhaps, by
re-reading a few of her favorite scary books. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Gina is survived by her children, Chad (Lisa) Cammack, Kirsten Clayton; grandchildren, Ashley Moise, Ryan Cammack, Cameron Cammack; great grandchildren, Alyssa Phillips and Landon Moise; siblings, Debby (Phil) Morreale, Nana Garcia, Del Ray Williams; Many extended family and friends. She is preceded by her parents, Delbert and Ruth Williams, and former husband, Barry Cammack.
A memorial service will take place Monday August 9, 2021 at 3pm, with a visitation to follow from 4-6 pm at Carson–Speaks Chapel located at 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.
