Barbara Ann Campbell, 74 , of Independence, MO died on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Barbara was born May 7, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Milton Robert Campbell and Maurine (Ridenhour) Campbell. She graduated from North East High School in 1966. After graduation, she worked at Hallmark for 34 years, retired, then worked at National Benefits Center in Lee’s Summit, MO until she retired in 2008.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Kathryn Campbell; and infant great-niece, Katie Burres. She is survived by her brother, Robert S. Campbell (Dee) of De Witt, MO; niece, Robin Ann Burres; nephew, Robert M. Campbell (Tammy); great-nephews, David Burres, Hayden Campbell (Mercedes) ; great-niece, Haleigh Campbell; several great-great nieces and nephews; and her cat, Cletus.
Barbara was an animal lover, who was never a stranger and was good to everyone. She loved her family and all of her friends.
