Barbara Jean Canaday (Cunningham)

Barbara Jean Canaday, 88 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her residence. Cremation is planned with private inurnment at Mound Gove Cemetery. Barbara was born April 21, 1932 in Peoria, IL to Lloyd and Vila (Hale) Cunningham and has been a longtime area resident. She had worked as a meat wrapper for Milgram’s Grocery Store for over 15 years. She was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters & Butchers Workmen of North America, Local Union No. 576. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family. She was a member of the RLDS and Community of Christ congregation. Survivors include; a daughter, Beverly Pappageorge of Independence, MO; a son, Jamey Canaday of Independence, MO and a grandchild, Angela McKinley of Independence and numerous nieces and nephews.
