Stephen Capron

Steve Capron, 64, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away on his birthday Friday, August, 3, 2012. Steve was born in Canton, IL to Rosie and Lyle Capron. He later married his wife Karen (Latham) in 1969. Steve was a man who worked hard. He received a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri Steve worked for several banks as Chief Financial Officer. Recently he worked as an auditor for United Missouri Bank. Steve also played hard. An avid baseball fan and player he was a successful catcher for many teams and even played Semi Pro.
He is survived by his wife, Karen of the home; daughters, Kelley Capron and Kristin McConnell (Brett); Grandson, Drew McConnell; sisters, Luanne Rosenow (Archie) and Janet Capron; brother-in-law, Steve Latham (Linda); many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Ruby and Ralph Latham; and nephew, Nathan Kraviec.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 8, 2012 at Timothy Lutheran Church 425 Northwest R.D. Mize Rd. Blue Springs, MO. Visitation will be 6:00-8 p.m. Tuesday August 7, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E 39th Street Independence, MO.
