Victoria Jo “Vicki” Carey, a woman who loved her family fiercely, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was 74.
Vicki was born to Paul and Billie Morris on May 9, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Vicki graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and married her beloved husband, Kenneth shortly after. Walking them down to Dave’s Ice Cream Shop was one of her favorite past times. Vicki was a caring woman and enjoyed her time working as a Home Health Aide for many years before retiring in 2005. Holidays were a special time for Vicki. She would make a point to celebrate every occasion and made lasting memories for the entire family. Vicki’s kind spirit recently earned her a spot as the “resident of the week” in her nursing home. She was very proud of that. Vicki will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
