Nora Lorenda Hulse Carlson, 58 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her residence. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Friday at the chapel. Nora was born October 28, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Lowell and Donna (Jones) Hulse and has been a longtime area resident. She graduated from Bronaugh High School in Bronaugh, MO and graduated from CMSU with a bachelor’s degree in education. She had worked as a child development teacher for Bright Horizons Child Development Center for 30 years. She is survived by; her husband, Scott Carlson of the home; a son, Sean Carlson and daughter Jennifer Carlson of the home and a brother, Lowell Hulse, Jr. of Bronaugh, MO.
