Albert Lee Carpenter

Albert Lee Carpenter, 89 of Independence, MO passed away Thur. Dec. 4, 2003 at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 2:00 pm Wed. Dec. 10, 2003 at the Speaks Midtown Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 - 2:00 pm prior to Service time. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Mr. Carpenter was born on Oct. 19, 1914 to Emmett and Mrytle Carpenter in Bates City, MO. He had been a Maintenance Foreman with Ford Motor Company, Claycomo Plant from 1934 to 1975. He was a member of the United Auto Workers and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise and by his second wife, Ethel and by two sisters and one brother. Albert is survived by a sister, Helen Owings of Oak Grove, Special friends, Randy & Della Wolfe of Independence, MO and by several nieces and nephews.
