Margaret Cartmill

Margaret Louise Cartmill, 87 of Buckner, MO passed away Wed. Aug. 1, 2007 at Research Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 am Sat. Aug 4, 2007 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO. Burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 �" 8:00 pm Friday at the chapel. Mrs. Cartmill was born on Oct. 19, 1919 to Ralph and Bessie (Scrivens) Markham in Norborne, MO. On Jan. 24, 1941 she married Roth Lee Cartmill in Independence, MO. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed Crocheting, sewing, gardening and cooking for her family. She was of the Methodist faith and in past years had been a volunteer at various hospitals with the Candy Striper Program. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Melissa, Betty and Bertha. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roth Lee Cartmill of Buckner, MO. Three daughters Jane Ann Stevens and husband, Lee of Hollister, MO, Bonnie Louise Martens and husband Mike of Blue Springs, MO and Ann Lee Horne and husband Robb of Buckner, MO. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. One sister, Viola Kincaid of Oklahoma and a brother, Ralph Markham, Jr. of Nixa, MO.
