Vicky Lynn Cartmill

Vicky Lynn Cartmill, 54, of Donna, TX formerly of Grain Valley, MO passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Buckner. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Vicky was born May 8, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Robert Thorpe and Joan C. Murphy Thorpe. Attended public schools in Buckner graduating from Fort Osage High School. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed nature and especially bird watching. She had attended United Methodist Church in Oak Grove and had recently retired October 1, 2005 to Donna, Texas. Survivors include her husband Terry Cartmill of Independence, a daughter Tara Orell and grandson Jesse Nichols both of Oak Grove, MO a brother Robert J. Thorpe of Donna, Texas and her mother in law Thelma Cartmill of Independence, MO. Donations may be made
