John Cascairo

John V. Cascairo, 76, of Independence, MO, went to his Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at St. Mary’s Manor. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Hospice. John was born January 22, 1931 in Kansas City, MO to Francis and Margaret (Polito) Cascairo. He was a Printer for the Kansas City Star Newspaper before retiring after 38 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marilyn (Meyerdierks) Cascairo; children Nancy (Pete) Zarrillo, Janice (Steve) Harris, Kathryn Cascairo and John V. Cascairo, Jr.; sister Agnes (Irvine) Tucker; brother Joseph (Roberta) Cascairo; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family is grateful for the care and compassion of the staff from Grace Hospice.
