Josephine Harriet Case

Josephine Harriet Case, 94, of Blue Springs, MO passed away of natural causes at her daughter’s home in Lee’s Summit, MO on Friday, June 12th, 2020. She was born July 6th, 1925 in Kansas City, MO, the 7th of 13 children.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and sister, and was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Case, to whom she was married for 50 years, until his passing in 2013. She is survived by son William and wife Judy Nance, daughter Susann Nance, daughter Katherine and husband Robert Stockdale, son Christopher Nance, son Steven and wife Sylvia Case; grandchildren Michaela, Timothy, John, Stephanie, Sam, Ashley, Amanda, Christopher, Lindsay and Lacey; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Evianne and Ryland, Jean-Philippe and Alissia, Olivia and Charles; and her only remaining sibling Patricia Arnold.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4313 SW S.R.7, Blue Springs, MO and burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
