Shirley Case, 87, of Independence, MO passed away May 10, 2016. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Friday, May 13, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial will be held at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Shirley was born January 22, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to William and Bland (Wilson) Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Case Jr.; and daughter, Terri L. Lawson. Shirley is survived by her sister, Billie L. Ferguson; son, Lance K. “Butch” Case and wife Dawn; son-in-law, James M. Lawson; grandson, Sean T. Lawson and wife Cynthia; great grandson, Everett George Lawson; as well as many cousins, surviving members of her late husband’s family, friends and extended family.
