Karla Lynn Casey (Skiff)

Karla Lynn Casey, 54, passed away peacefully at home January 15, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer. Funeral Mass will be at 11 am, Monday, Feb. 5 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will begin at 10 am before the service at church. In lieu of flowers, Karla requested contributions to Cancer Action, Inc., 4010 S. Lynn Ct., Independence, MO 64055 in memory of Karla Lynn Casey. She graduated from O’Hara High School and the University of Oklahoma. Karla enjoyed classic vehicles and was a member of the K.C. Truck Club. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Heilman) Skiff. She is survived by her husband Joseph, her father Karl Skiff, her sister Karen Skiff and her two children Krysta and Kole VanderPol.
