Mary Casey

Mary Ann Casey, 51, of Independence, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 27, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Ft. Osage Church of the Nazarene, 19333 E. 24 Highway, Independence, MO 64056. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. prior to the service. 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services on Monday, October 31, 2011 in Floral Hills Cemetery. Mary Ann was born May 23, 1960 in Independence, MO to Mancel and Dorothy (Griffin) Bowers. Her faith in God was most important to her. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed flower gardening and traveling in her spare time. Mary Ann was an active and proud member of the Red Hat Society. She was a nurse at Ft. Osage High School. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gary Casey; children Scarlet Casey, Dale Casey; sister Willa Jeanne Toon and husband John; and by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
