Patricia was born on March 4, 1934, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Hiram Jackson Creech and Helen Cecilia (Cargile) Creech. She married Richard G. Castle and to this union were born four children. She was a homemaker as well as a tax examiner and analyst for the IRS. As she entered retirement, she pursued her passion of writing songs and poetry. She was a published author of several pieces of music and books. Patricia also did genealogical research, and was able to trace back her lineage to the early Jamestown settlement. She loved connecting with nature, and often went hiking, camping, cycling, and kayaking with family and friends. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s and St. John LaLande Church. She truly set an example for her children on how to lead a good life, and her generous, kind, loving spirit will always be remembered.
Patricia is survived by her children: Deborah Malotte (husband, Michael), D’Ann Castle, and Stephen Castle (wife, LouAnn); grandchildren: Alenda Immer (husband, Steve), Eric Stevenson (wife, Lacy), Randy Stevenson, Stephanie Castle, and Anastasia Castle; great-grandchildren, Regan Stevenson and Jackson Dickerson; siblings, Betty McGowan, Dolores Cunningham, Kenneth Creech, Gary Creech, and Sherry Vereecke.
