Willard F. "Flub� Castle, 90, of Kingston, TN formerly of Independence, passed away Mon. May 9, 2005 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman,
TN.. Services will be 2:00 pm Sat. May 14, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:30 -8 :00 pm Friday at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer�s Association. Mr. Castle was born on Feb 4, 1915 to Lewis and Charlotte (Hudson) Castle in Amoret, MO. He had been a general foreman with Armco Steel for over 42 years, retiring in 1980. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, and loved playing golf and trap shooting. But his true passion was fly-fishing. He had the ability to tie perfect flies and was able to throw the perfect cast. He had been an active participant in County Politics, having made an unsuccessful bid for State Representative in the mid 1960�s. He had also been a Lobbyist for Armco Steel. Mr. Castle was a lifetime member of the Sheffield Masonic Lodge and had received his 50-year pin. He had previously been a member of the First Baptist Church of Independence. He was a loving and caring Father and grandfather and will greatly be missed. Willard was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jeanne M. Castle earlier this year. He is survived by a son Joseph L. Castle and wife Diane of Kingston, TN. One daughter, Janene M. Frank of Lexington, MO. Two grandchildren, Jeff Castle and Janet Andreasen and husband Robbie. Two great grandchildren Zachary and Sarah Andreasen. A brother, Duane Castle of Victoria, TX and a sister in law, Georgia Castle of Butler, MO.
