Rachel Lynn Cearley

Rachel Lynn Cearley, 48 of Independence passed away Thu. Dec 29, 2005 at her home. Services will be 3:00 pm Wed. Jan 4, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday at the chapel. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Ms. Cearley was born on May 6, 1957 in Ft. Worth, TX to Robert and Mary Alexander. She had been an LPN with Independence Regional Health Center and Resthaven Nursing home. She had also been a bookkeeper for Jamie Automotive Machine Shop, for many years. Rachel was a loving mother, who enjoyed camping, cooking for family dinners and doing what she could to help others. She especially enjoyed getting down on the floor and playing with her new granddaughter. Rachel is survived by a son, James Matthew Cearley of Independence; A daughter, Melissa LeAnn Cearley of Independence; a sister, Rebecca Johnson of Granbury, TX and her precious granddaughter, Laci Nicole Cearley.
