Michael Earl Chamberlain, 50, Blue Springs, MO passed away Monday, November 12, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Shady Grove Cemetery, northwest of Warsaw on Highway 7.
Michael was born May 18, 1962 in Warrensburg, MO the son of Clayton E. and Patricia S. (Doerflinger) Chamberlain. He worked for MKS Pipe & Valve and was a member of Teamsters Union #741. Mike was voted twice as Kansas City’s best vocalist as a member of the band Denov Thieves and released three albums during his music career. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a history buff, but most of all Michael was a devoted father and friend.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Chamberlain and wife Liz, Nicholas, and Sean Chamberlain; grandchildren, Erin, Emma and Carter Chamberlain; mother, Patricia Garmon; father, Clayton E. Chamberlain and wife Debbie; brothers, Clayton Chamberlain and wife Michelle, Allen Chamberlain and wife Amy; nieces, Cora and Mira Chamberlain and nephew, William Chamberlain.
