Mary "Linda" Chaney

Mary Linda Chaney, 65, of Independence, Missouri was born June 15, 1957 to Francis Leo ‘Mickey’ Ryan and Betty Jo ‘Keith’ Ryan in Independence, Missouri.

She passed away on December 10, 2021. A celebration of life will be held from 6-8pm, Thursday December 16th at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, Missouri. The family will receive friends/guests starting at 6 p.m. until the service begins at 7 PM.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her pets. She loved animals so much, be it horses, dogs, cats, fish, or birds. She loved and trained them every chance she got. Linda had such creativity and had amazing artistic abilities and craftsmanship that she instilled in her daughters. She loved flowers, plants, Koi fish and butterflies.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Christina (Lemken) Deardorff and Alana (Chaney) Martin; grandchildren, Parker and Pierce Deardorff and Mia Martin. She also leaves behind James ‘Jimmy‘ and Jeanie Ryan, Michael ’Mike’ and Jan Ryan and Patrick ‘Pat’ Ryan and many nieces and nephews that she adored as well. She will be missed dearly but is now at peace. You are loved by so many.
