David Elwood "Cigar Dave" Chapman

David “Cigar Dave” Chapman, 81, of Blue Springs, MO passed away March 19, 2020. Per Dave’s request cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at a later date. Dave was born on December 2, 1938 in Greenfield, Ohio, the youngest of 3 children born to Karl and Grace (Beasley) Chapman.He retired from Kim Supply after many years in sales. Dave was a very intelligent and witty person, and always quick with a joke (sometimes dirty!). He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at “Dirty Harry’s” in Blue Springs. He also liked woodworking and carving. Dave was dearly loved and will forever missed by his family and friends. Survivors include: daughter Christina Fine and her husband Lucas; daughter Heather Gearon and her husband Adam; daughter April Chapman; grandchildren Jon Houst, Loretta Houst, Rex Fine, Ava Fine, Garick Gearon and Mackay Gearon; extended family and friends. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, wives Nola Chapman and Sandra Chapman, son Scott Chapman, daughter Barbara Chapman Houst, brother Karl Chapman and sister Janice Crowl.
