Larry Ray Chapman, 69, of Liberty, MO passed away peacefully December 7, 2015 at home, after a long battle with cancer. Larry was born July 15, 1946 in Wichita, KS, the son of Bobby Ray and Maxine Chapman. After graduating from Northeast High School in Kansas City, MO, Larry honorably served his country in the US Air Force. Larry worked for Data Essentials as a Graphics Manager for 26 years then for Sprue Bros. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching, going to the casino and taking walks through the nature sanctuary's, especially with the grandkids. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon; son Chad Chapman and wife Michelle; daughter Sheri Brancato and husband Tommy; grandchildren Michael Chapman, Salvatore, Abigail and Liliana Brancato and step grandchildren Corey and Ashley Biswell; brother Gary Chapman and wife Toni and sister Francy Chapman and husband Jim Boyer; niece Monica Chapman Kitchens and Adam Chapman. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chris Anthony Chapman. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with cremation to follow.
